Whenever I had questions about something, they were very responsive and informative. Never once were they pushy or overbearing. I value that he never discriminated against me by my credit, income, or race. Before working with Matt, other lenders ignored me and said I was not ready to get a loan, but Matt made it possible. I would highly recommend this company!

Matt is readily available to answer questions that come up at any time… he even replied via email while traveling for vacation! He is extremely knowledgeable and talks you through the process. The online portal that they use is very helpful to complete signing the never ending forms that come with any escrow. His assistant, Linnea is wonderful and makes sure to communicate anything that has been sent via email so that you don’t miss anything. Two thumbs up for The Maltese Group!

He was so good that I even have referred many of my physician colleagues to him as well. Realizing that there is a significant difference in quality when using mortgage brokers including the loans going through in a timely fashion. Also the interest rates were very well in line with market standards and other competitors.

The one word I would use during this process is “transparency”. He was very straightforward with us and our specific situation. When I had questions the team was very responsive. They use a portal for docs and it made it easy to track the process. It’s important to me to establish a relationship long term with a mortgage professional. We are extremely happy with our new home! The process was fast and easy, there are few bumps but eventually Matt was able to help us! Matt and Linnea are very helpful and professional and easy to work with, nextime we know we’re finally moving to our first home with our first baby, (what a beautiful way to start 2023) Another thing Matt and his assistant was very responsive to our questions and concerns, which took the stress out of the process especially to me 😅 And also, out of all the banks my husband and I applied he got us the lowest rate so that’s another good thing, I highly recommend Cardinal Financial Company when it comes to mortgage needs!

Matt and his team are wonderful to work with. They are very dedicated and work extremely fast as long as you are also timely with the documents they request to process your loan. In this market the faster you can close the better. Matt had all of our paperwork ready to close and we could have closed earlier then expected, but the sellers side wasnt ready! We closed in under 2 weeks. He gives you breakdowns and goes over all your options with you about rates and costs. We will most definitely recommend his team to anyone looking for a home loan.

In our situation, other lenders either didn't even try to work with my husband and me or took the easy road and gave us ridiculous options. Matt said to me the first time we spoke, "Please, I have been doing this a long time, give me the chance to see what I can do for you!"
